Barring specific deck strategies, well want to make sure we have a decent ramp of cards to play at each ink cost, without making us too top-heavy
Its the best way to deal with threats before they hit the board, stopping creatures ETB effects and preventing a player from getting an activation off of their planeswalker before you can kill it in combat
The same is true if the creature is destroyed but instead of going to its owner's graveyard, a replacement effect moves it elsewhere, such as exile
This red creature could comfortably fit in graveyard decks already achieving delirium but seems too low-impact and narrow for most lists
Being able to cast a 3- or 4-drop for free after playing this card is stronger than cascade, and we know how powerful that mechanic is
I would also beef up the deck with some gimmicks to ensure opponents have creatures to stomp on, like Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor, Combat Calligrapher, Tahngarth, First Mate and Assault Suit
